Who do I call when I need help in an emergency situation?

We advise you to call 911 for assistance.

Do I have to pay to be a member?

No.  We provide all of the training and equipment for you.  The only item you will need to provide is yourself and boots.

What specialty teams are there?

We have swift water, dive rescue, high angle rescue, general search & rescue, medical, & logistics.

Are there any age restrictions?

Yes.  Members of our organization, must be 18 years of age or older.

What skills must I have to be apart of your team?

None.  If you have never been apart of an emergency services organization, we train you to be certified to respond to search and rescue incidents.

Do you take donations?

Yes.  We are always in need of search and rescue related equipment or monetary donations to help us be successful out in the field.

What is training like?

We have a 3-month training academy, that meets twice a month, that all of our members go through. The training covers rules & regulations, wilderness SAR, urban SAR, water SAR, emergency operations, & first aid. If our members are interested in getting certified at the technician level, we send them to the appropriate training facility. All of our members must pass the 3 month training academy to respond to active call-outs.

We cover the the Central Texas region, but if need be, we can provide search and rescue capabilities to surrounding regions.
